Steen (aka Justine Pulles) is an artist from Vancouver, BC, Canada with a background in traditional art, a love for animation, and a dedication to the vinyl toy world.
Steen’s artwork is a mixture of realism, and cartoon, or stylized approaches to both. Her subject matter relies mostly on nostalgia, and is taken from her personal experiences, or things that make her happy.
Steen has worked as a background/layout artist, colour stylist, Photoshop artist, and digital painter in the 2D animation industry, working on a variety of projects from children’s cartoons, to music videos, to motion comics.
